Had a yeast infection for about 7 months now can a yeast infection kill you for having it long time?

Yeast infections: Whether the yeast infection is dangerous or not depends on a number of factors, the location of the infection, the general health of the patient, etc. A skin yeast condition called tinea versicolor is not dangerous at all. A blood infection with a yeast like candida can be fatal. It concerns me that a young man would have a yeast infection for 7 months. Please see your doctor for a full exam.

Immune system: If you have a normal immune system (you aren't on immune suppresive drugs, you don't have hiv), a yeast infection should not kill you. But your doctor should be able to give you medicine to treat it well. Are you and your doctor sure it is a yeast infection?
