STD exam and testing: Most primary care doctors (family medicine, internal medicine,, gyn) can examine and test for STD. However, expertise varies widely. Contact your local or state health department: if there is a public health STD clinic nearby, that's pretty much guaranteed to be expert, reliable, and sensitive to sexuality and alternative lifestyles. No sex together until both examined and tested.
