Can't predict: In the first 6 mo to yr of menses the interval & duration of flow can be variable. Egg release may/not occur early on which is needed to pace cycles. You can skip a month or more & end up with a very heavy flow when it comes. After 6 mo/1yr most will have a predictable pattern with regular intervals. Some never do.
