I had unprotected sex and i took a emergency contraceptive (specifically ella) 2 days after ups. will the pill affect my cycle? it usually lasts for 30 days, and it supposedly comes next week?

Plan B ?'s: "Ella" and other "Plan B emergency contraceptives" contain estrogen and a progestin, so you may have some brown discharge several days after taking a Plan B type of pill. It will not affect the onset of your period if you are not pregnant, but this method of birth control is not a certainty.
