Menses: There are many causes for bleeding from the uterus. The uterus normally bleeds in response to hormones that fluctuate during the cycle. When bleeding occurs continuously it can be a disruption of the hormonal control, a mass within the uterus or pregnancy. On rare occasions it can also be associated with a bleeding disorder. An evaluation with a doctor is suggested.
