I have genital hsv-1. how risky is it to be dating someone with hand eczema? i've read about eczema herpeticum and concerned about transmission.does it commonly spread on the body when transmission occurs? is viral shedding a common culprit for this?

Sl. risk: This is a very good question and I would suggest to avoid relations when your hsv is active and use both adequate protection along with prophylaxis { antivirals} when engaging in sex. Would also see your dermatologist for confirmation of the hsv via culture and blood tests.
