A member asked:

I am highly allergic to propylene glycol. is it safe to take a medication containing polyethylene glycol?

No: By definition a person who is "highly allergic" to anything should never take it. What you mean by highly allergic is not evident. Some might consider a slight rash a major event. For me highly allergic means an exposure could kill you.
