Antibiotics and BCPs: There are some antibiotics which can reduce the absorption of the hormones in oral contraceptives, but unless there is breakthrough bleeding, the effectiveness is not diminished. If spotting or bleeding occurs,use other forms of birth control until the cyclimycin has ended.
