Spotting on bcp ?: On low dose oral contraceptives, one needs to be very punctual taking the active pills, which should be in the same hour taken as the previous day's active pill to avoid withdrawal bleeding. Stop the current pack, wait five days, and start a new pack, being careful to maintain the time taken. If spotting continues, see your gyn physician for an exam and testing.
