Baker’s cyst : Check to see if there is a bump as well. A common problem known as a baker’s cyst, can occur here and may be painful. Try rubbing some Voltaren gel (OTC) in and around the area a few times daily. Even if the cyst is not present, the anti inflammatory effect should be beneficial for you. Ultimately, steroid injection could be helpful,if it doesn’t resolve Or remains painful. Good luck
