Someone knocked gallon of beach over in the office and i inhaled the bleach smell for about 30 minutes without knowing it. it was strong but not too strong of a smell. not the greatest ventilation system in the office. permanent damage? can you die?

Chemical reaction: Bleach is a caustic substance and should be handled with care. There may be inhalationl injury to your lungs. I would advise seeing a physician and a chest image. Watch for signs of cough, distress and fever. Please follow up soon.
