In Moderation: Buttermilk is a high-fat milk that does not have any unique health benefits. It is important to make sure you are getting enough calcium per day (at least 1200mg/day, no more than 600mg at a time), along with vitamin D 400IU daily, for good bone health, as you mentioned. Though this can be obtained through many dairy products, fresh vegetables, and even vitamins/supplements.
