Cool water: The burn is a secondary burn and you should be evaluated by a physician at urgent care. Do not open the blisters or irritate the area. and please follow up. Use running cool water to treat the burn as you proceed to urgent care.

Burns: I agree with submersion in cold water. My concern is if you have burned pads of fingers and how much surface area of your palms is burned. Second degree burns can be various depths. Infection of burn wounds to hands can be serious. I know that some people treat second degree burns at home - but we don't have enough info to be able to know that is safe.
