A member asked:

Do you prescribe gabapentin?

No. (wrong forum): No medical care on this public free forum. Neurontin (gabapentin) is a drug used to treat nerve pain, and is helpful in relieving symptoms. Among its side effects are dizziness and drowsiness (meaning one should be careful if considering driving or operating machinery). A few people may have changes in their moods or thoughts. One's own doctor can help decide if Gabapentin should be used.

Gabapentin: HealthTap's free, public site is for education. We are not able to provide you with referrals, assessments, diagnoses or treatment on this portion of HealthTap. I do prescribe gabapentin but it is not available through this format.
