Had my yearly exam.did a cbc, lipids, a1c, thyroid&ua.everything came back good except my ua showed moderate epithilial casts.what is that? concerning?

Not usually: Renal epithelial cells are normally found in urine and moderate numbers are not suggestive of underlying disease. Its is also possible that the urine sample was contaminated and the epithelial cell are from lower urinary tract. Have this test repeated a few months later.
