Good day, my menstrual cycle is 27-29 days, today marks 8 days late. i took a hpt today and the results were "not pregnant" i use yaz contraceptives, my cycle has been regular, id get my period on the last active pill but not this time. i am 28 yrs.

Late period ?'s: If you were late starting a new pack of "Yaz", for example waiting after the placebo pills more than a few days, the "HPT" may be a false negative. Obtain a serum HCG test to be certain. If negative, consult your gyn physician for other testing.
