ZA or USA.: My understanding is that in South Africa- one needs to consult w a medical provider who will then make the determination about whether they will make a COVID 19 testing referral or not.USA – policies vary by state. State & local health departments/ providers make actual testing decisions. Some states require a dr.'s referral & others don't. People can call their PCM if ill.
