Hi, sharp pain / discomfort on my left side of the chest, on the rib cage. blood test came negative, x-rays scans found nothing. i was told there was inflammation and i needed to drink more water. pain still persists. ?

Chest pain : While testing seems to be negative, did you have a physical examination? Do you have tenderness of the ribs? Inflammation -? where? more details are needed. My quick guess is you have rib pain.
