Brown discharge: Brown discharge typically indicates oxidized blood i.e. "old blood." Brownish discharge for 8 days is too long. It is difficult to diagnose without a history/physical exam and possible labs. Suggestion: schedule an appointment with gynecologist. I hope this helps.
