Lower GI bleeding: Any new or unexplained rectal or intestinal bleeding requires in-person medical evaluation. Contact your doctor ASAP. Get seen immediately (urgent care or ER) if your doc isn't available, if lots of blood -- i.e. if your movements appear to be mostly blood -- or if any fever, abdominal pain, or you feel dizzy or light headed.
