Chest Pain: Although you are young, any persistent chest pain should be investigated by a qualified physician.

Recommended: Your symptoms are probably caused by a pinched/irritated intercostal nerve or muscle that runs between 2 ribs or possibly by other rib cage strain, mild inflammation or injury. Pleurisy, early pneumonia, pericarditis, pneumothorax, pulmonary embolism are unlikely causes of your symptoms, but for peace of mind, if they persist, seeing a physician is worthwhile.
