Woke up w/ pain on jawline just above chin, maybe an inch above. can kinda feel a small bump. no pain in mouth or teeth. ice only helped for a min. no bruise visible. i suffer from tmj. not sure wht this is? pain when stretched & chewin & to touch

Painful bump: Could be, among other reasons, abscessed tooth, gum infection, rankle, cyst, traumatic injury, etc. you will have to be examined and possibly x-rayed to determine etiology. Once diagnosed the lesion can be properly treated. Call your De noisy for an appointment.
