When i clench or push my anal sphincter i get this pain slightly below and to the sides of my tailbone. pain started 3 weeks ago and i stopped weight lifting 2 weeks ago. i notice this pain most when sitting or putting pressure on my butt. ?

Get exam: Weight lifting may be the clue. Rotated SAcro-Iliac joint, herniated disc, or other local pathology can be determined in a good exam, which should,include a rectal exam. Sitting increases intra-discal pressure, and improper lifting could have forced muscles or joints into painful positions. For now, try doing some log rolls with 1 leg flexed, then change to,other side. Good luck.
