A member asked:

Is it possible to get covid from a dead person? if so, are funeral home workers considered a high risk occupation when dealing with covid?

If you try: Covids is transmitted through respiratory droplets, since dead people do not breathe, you would have try hard to get the virus out of then to get infected. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!

Respiratory illness: The illness is spread primarily through respiratory droplets (coughing and sneezing). Someone who is dead won't cough or sneeze. The virus can live for brief periods on porous surfaces - but contact is not the major mode of transmission. I would hope that people who are working with diseased corpses (COVID 1 or not) would use gloves & mask & wash their hands..
