Med Edema how long?: It will depend on which medication you are talking about. Almost all with swelling due to BP meds such as CCBs are eating more sodium (salt) than their kidneys can pee out. Check with your team and discuss about stating the low-sodium DASH Diet. You will be better in 2 weeks usually.
