Depends on injury: Normal, everyday ways people masturbate does not leave scars. Normal, everyday ways people have sex with other people does not leave physical scars. If a person is injuring herself, she can just do a video or an in-person consultation with her regular doctor to examine and discuss what she is doing that is causing injury. Should be easy to evaluate. Masturbation is universal and should not scar.
