Hello i'm just trying to understand why i could be missing my periods. i am on contraceptives (implant) so my periods have not been regular for over a year. now i have missed my periods for 3 months in a row. i was on a lot medication in february.

Possible reasons...: Pregnancy is the most common cause of a missed period. If not pregnant, other causes of a late or missed period include: excessive weight loss or weight gain, increased exercising, emotional stress, having an illness, traveling, medicines (such as birth control hormones), hormonal disorders, etc… A home urine pregnant test is inexpensive, sold everywhere, and very accurate by 3 weeks after sex.
