No: If you do not have Covid, it is not necessary to wear gloves and masks. The incidence of pediatric covid (age less than 18) is less than 2% and disease in children is usually very mild.

No need: It is very unlikely that you were not exposed to what your child may have been exposed to. So the risk of your baby giving to coronavirus is remote to non-existent. Wish you and your baby good health!
