I have been on the birth control pill sronyx for 5 years, but for the last 4 months i have been having brown mid-cyle spotting that starts on day 17 of my cycle. does this mean my pills are no longer effective? i have never missed a pill.

Pills: Talk to your provider. Physiology can change overtime. Likely you do need pill with more support.
