How recent ?: There is sometimes evidence of recent penetrating vaginal sex on exam if that exam occurs within hours/days of the event. After any extended period this would fade. Hymeneal experience varies.Some women either never have one or lose it to trauma or other non sexual activity in childhood.Self sex /masturbation can also alter the appearance.
