Coronavirus: No, actually it has a mortality rate of around 3% of the people infected. There are different grades of severity in the infection of coronavirus. It can be a flu-like illness or it can cause pneumonia, normally people that die are because of the penumonia and affection to other systems of the patient. There are a lot of factors that influence the severity, and they are subjective to each patient.

No: Far from 100% fatal. The fatality rates have varied in different countries. Using statistics from New York City " Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) = Deaths / Cases = 23,430 / 1,694,781 = 1.4% (1.4% of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 have a fatal outcome, while 98.6% recover)." REF: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/coronavirus-death-rate/. World Health Organization estimated IFR of > 3%.
