COVID-19 protection: This is a difficult issue to consider. I would discuss with your own Dr about your risks if you get it weighing everything else about your health. You need maximum PPE and I would refuse to work without it. Follow CDC and your local guidelines like the life of you and anyone you live with depended on it. Be careful and be safe.

PPE and common sense: Use maximum PPE, remove and bag your clothing prior to entering your home and get into the shower as soon as you enter your home. That is what we have been recommending at our facilities Stay safe

Thanks for your work: I agree with earlier response. I am hopeful that your hospital has enough PPE of good quality so that you can protect yourself adequately. Pay special attention with doffing your PPE. Be aware that in areas where many people doff their PPE that there can be significant contamination on the floors that can be kicked up with movement.
