A member asked:

Hi,i would like to know does plantar warts cause yeast and klebsiella?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Plantar warts are abnormal skin lumps caused by skin cells infected with certain strains of HPV virus that cause plantar warts. Warts do not cause yeast or fungi, and warts do not cause Klebsiella nor other kinds of bacteria. Likewise, Klebsiella do not cause warts, and yeast do not cause warts. Finally, yeast and Klebsiella do not cause one another.
