Normal lung function: If you have no leftover breathing problems from your infection ten years ago, then you are unlikely to be more at risk than others, and doing anything above and beyond what has been recommended is not necessary. However, if you have permanent damage, such as lung scarring, or have had recurrent breathing problems, you should follow additional guidelines for people who have underlying conditions.
