Oral STD ?'s: Some STD's which can affect the mucus membranes orally can be treated with systemic antibiotics or other agents. Viral transmissions such as Herpes I or II will be present and potentially reactivated as there is no current method to rid the body of dormant Herpes viral particles, which attach to the DNA nucleus of affected cells, and are impervious to antiviral meds in that location.

Yes and No: That would depend on the specific disease, whether or not the person gets treatment, and whether or not she dies of the disease or of anything else before the disease is cleared from her body. There are many types of STD's. The goal is to never catch any of them. That means having very few sex partners, who themselves have very few partners. Otherwise, stuff spreads really fast!
