Penile pain: Pain that comes and goes, without swelling or soreness, probably isn't serious. Clear discharge on waking up is normal: all men have erections when sleeping; you're probably seeing pre-ejaculate fluid that goes along with penile erection. But if the discharge is cloudy or yellow, it's an infection, usually an STD. See a doctor if symptoms continue or you remain concerned.
