I have persistent acne, i have been on oratane on and off for the past two yrs but the moment i stop taking it, it comes back. i was also on jamsine & ginette (contraceptive) but the side effects were horrible (nausea) help pls, my skin is terrible.

Dermatologist helps: Oratane is used to treat the more severe cases of acne. It is not used to treat mild acne. One should recheck with her dermatologist to find the next step, as her doctor should already know her whole picture and how her skin responded to various acne medications in the past. There are other treatments besides hormonal birth control pills and Oratane.
