Absolutely cannot...: Cannot have sexual activities without fully effective contraception while on Accutane and for some time after stopping Accutane because the drug causes birth defects. Cannot depend on PlanB because PlanB is merely a good backup. Can discuss this with Ob-Gyn doctor to see what the best course of action is, and discuss with the Accutane prescriber about switching meds to something safer.

Plan B ?'s: "Plan B" is only occasionally effective. if your next period is delayed, wait one week and get a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy. Ask your gyn about low dose oral contraceptives to be safe from unwanted pregnancy.
