A member asked:

What could i do to find out if it's a yeast or bacterial infection before visiting a doctor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below:: Without actually getting a specimen to the lab, it is impossible to know. Although some infections do have specific features, like type of drainage, smell, etc etc. Your doc will be able help with the diagnosis and treat you.
