does finasteride inhibit facial hair growth in men? i ask because finasteride reduces the conversion of testosterone into dht.

No: It actually does the opposite. Finasteride while blocking the conversion of testosterone to DHT prevents the damage and decay that the DHT causes in the hair follicles. It is documented that finasteride makes the hair grow.
