Can wait a little: A home urine pregnancy test will give a reliable result by 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred) or 1 week after missing a period. The test can be done sooner, but there is no need to do that. Patience is a virtue. Being patient and waiting will avoid false negatives and avoid spending extra money to repeat tests.
