A member asked:

Over the last few months i have noticed a brown discharge, however this past week it has been constant. i am also always tired and often nauseous. i am worried that it might be something to be concerned about. should i see a gynae?

Doctor can examine: A vaginal discharge is anything coming from the vagina that is more than the scant amount of normal mucous that healthy women have. A discharge that has odor is usually an infection with germs such as bacteria, trichomonas, gonorrhea or chlamydia (discharge gets worse as infection gets worse). A woman with a discharge should see her doctor for an exam. In one's mid-40's, cancer is also a worry.
