Eye test: dentists do not do eye examinations or fit glasses. You can see anOpthalmologist (medical specialist), or an Optometrist for measuring your visual acuity and prescribing corrective lenses. An Optometrist or an Oculist (all of these terms can be Googled for definitions) can fit you for glasses or contacts. As to insurance coverage, check with hour insurance provider.
