Dr. to examine area: Testicle pain generally means a trip to the doctor right away because the testicle's blood supply can be twisted off (called torsion). What if only slight aches? That could be some other, non-urgent problem such as excessive pulling on the cord to the testis. One's primary care doctor can examine, because the details matter, such as where is the discomfort, how did it begin, how bad is it, etc...
