No difference: There is no noticeable difference in the effectiveness of a woman's birth control pills if she vomits 8 hours after taking a pill. The pill is long gone by then. Typical pills are absorbed into the body by 30-45 minutes after entering the stomach, but can take up to a couple of hours in some people with slower digestion.
