Chlamydia treatment: Have you had repeat lab test to prove you still have chlamydia? You can't tell by symptoms. Also, the repeat test needs to be done at least 3 weeks later; before that, the test can be positive even though you were cured. Azithromycin is good, but not perfect; it fails to cure chlamyda about 5% of the time (1 in 20 patients). In that case, you need treatment with doxycycline for 7 days. Good luck!
