Medical exam: You should get examined by a primary care physician and discuss which contraceptive pill is best for you. A prescription is needed for birth control pills and your overall health status should be checked out before you take them. Also remember once you get your prescription that these pills do not protect you from venereal disease so you should still only practice safe sex. I wish you well!
