May be a stye: Eyelid does swell up with a lump when there is a stye in the eyelid, or when there is an insect bite. Allergic reactions can swell up an eyelid too but usually the whole lid. A pimple in the eyelid is usually a stye in which a pore or a gland is blocked. One's primary care doctor can evaluate to see what it is. Stye home therapy is putting a warm (not hot) moist towel on it 4 times a day.

Sty or Chalazion: Sounds like you have a stye (or sty), which is a blocked gland in your eyelid. It can look like a whitehead on the inner eyelid. Try warm compresses for 15-20 minutes 4-6 times a day for a few days. If you have rapidly increasing pain, redness, fever, or blurry vision though (unlikely but possible), go to an ER.
