Probably not, but...: Pregnancy and psychiatric illnesses can happen together. Maternal psychiatric illness is not good for a pregnant woman and surely is bad for the baby after delivery. That means a woman with such a condition should first consult with her psychiatrist, her primary care doctor, and her Ob-Gyn doctor before embarking on the pregnancy journey. Anti-anxiety medication can be used during pregnancy.

Unlikely: Such stress adds stress hormones like Adrenalin and cortisone but the effect is minor if any. In later stages of pregnancy it is known to accelerate the maturity of the fetus. You have plenty of time to seek help in managing your stress by learning skills to do so.

Yes: Whatever one experiences during the pregnancy is experienced by the baby, so working to keep adequate support available, give yourself the necessary nutrition, rest and a positive environment is well worth the effort. Really important in general to have balance and adequate support is needed to raise a child as well . Try to develop good habits early. Best
