Always ask surgeon: A patient should ask his surgeon any questions about his surgery because the surgeon "was there" and knows everything that happened, plus the surgeon wants to know what is going on with his patient after surgery. If the surgery had bleeding under the skin, which it might because hemorrhoids are big swollen veins under the skin, the blood could track across to the scrotum, looking like a bruise.
